Interrogative Adverbs
Interrogative adverbs are common in the forming of questions in English.
The function of interrogative adverbs
Interrogative adverbs form an interrogation – a question. They are used to ask why, where, how, and when.
Examples:
- Why are you so angry?
- How did you complete that assignment so quickly?
- When does the bus come?
- Where are you going out tonight?
- How often do you study English?
- How much chocolate goes in this recipe?
- How much does that dictionary cost?
- How many people are in your team?
