The position of these particular adverbs can vary. Usually, they are placed at the beginning of a sentence, but the syntax can be flexible and can sometimes vary the tone. 

Examples:

  • Clearly, it doesn’t matter to you.
    It clearly doesn’t matter to you.
    It doesn’t matter to you, clearly. 
  • Personally, I prefer to have some background music whilst working.
    I personally prefer to have some background music whilst working.
    I prefer to have some background music whilst working, personally.
