Indefinite Pronouns

Indefinite pronouns are less specific than definite pronouns. They don’t refer to specific people or things.

Some examples of indefinite pronouns are: anybody, nothing, everything, all, someone, others, nobody.

Examples:

  • Are you going anywhere on holiday this year?
  • Don’t worry, I won’t tell anybody
  • Can somebody help me think of an example sentence?
  • I can’t think of anything on the spot.
